Author note: We interrupt the Twin Falls Idaho Shooting to interject another incredible experience on the 47th.
I’ve posted numerous articles on owls and how it seems they often precede anomalous sounds. An advance warning / message perhaps? I’ll gladly take either. There is a historical belief in the connection between aliens and the owl. I share it without understanding. I’ll accept my hundreds of recordings between the two as proof.
The session was over three hours long and produced a series of captured sounds starting with our owl. I found the frequency shifts that produced a series of hums to be incredibly pleasant to listen to. There were numerous voices that came through at low-frequency such as this female voice, “Can Mike see us?”
The waveform is like your roadmap of sound showing time points making it easily to jump around and see what the visual spikes sound like.

Chooglin’ (v. / slang): To ride a deep, rolling groove; to truck along effortlessly on an organic wave of momentum, sound, or good vibes. Coined by John Forgerty as a nonsense rock-n-roll verb (“You got to ball and have a good time / And that’s what I call chooglin”). It has evolved to describe any state of being locked into an infectious, fluid rhythm—whether that means boogieing down to swamp rock or riding a resonant wave of high-frequency sound shifts straight into a state of deep flow.
