A few hours to the end of the year—what an amazing year it has been. Yesterday during service, Pastor Yinka mentioned some of the things we were grateful for as a church

Sometimes, we don’t know how much the Lord has come through for us until we start listing them out. Last month, Pastor Yinka also taught on “Count your blessings.”

Yesterday, Rev. shared with us three things we should not go into the new year with, and I think it is a good time to look through them. Follow me;

Don’t go into the new year as an unbeliever. Simply put it in perspective: Are you doing the will of the Father? It is not about attending service or listening to Gospel songs; it is more than that. It is about living in a way that is aligned with God’s will. God’s perspective is now your perspective, and God’s position is now your position.

Do not end the year without knowing how to think rightly. The right way to think is by the scriptures. Let the word of God train your thinking. Psalms 19:7-8

Do not end the year without being a spirit-filled believer. This isn’t about speaking in tongues only but being in a state where your life is fully influenced by the Holy Spirit. Eph. 5:18, 2 Tim1:7

One phrase Reverend used yesterday was, “It is a safe mind that produces a safe journey."

This is something to think about.

See you on Tuesday for the crossover service.

Remember, if you have testimonies, now is a good time to tell the world how the Lord has been faithful to you. Sharing your personal testimonies not only glorifies God but also strengthens the faith of others. It is an opportunity to reflect on how the Lord has worked in your life and to inspire those who may be facing similar challenges. So, as we gather for the crossover service, consider sharing your story and celebrating the goodness of God in your life.

Lastly, I will be sending you a playlist tomorrow comprising some of the songs, and hymns we sing regularly in church this year, I think we could go into the new year with a new playlist.

Enjoy your day.....
