Dear Beloved Family,

Happy November! We’re officially in the home stretch of the year, and I think we can all agree that God’s been faithful! First, let’s take a moment to celebrate a big win for our church community—our recent graduates! Congratulations to each of you who just completed your convocation.😊 May this new season bring you great tidings, great opportunities and favour. May you continually be in tune with God’s word and instructions per time and season. Congratulations, once again!

This month’s reflections have been inspired by all The Jesus Meetings in October and focuses on what it means to walk with Jesus, no matter the pressures of life.

When pressures rise, our natural instincts might be to respond in a hundred different ways. But, as we learned in The Jesus Meeting, there’s only one answer to life’s pressures: believe Jesus. Don’t change your mind about standing firm with Him, even when things get tough. Remember, the victory Jesus won for us isn’t just for the sunny days; it’s meant to shine through during life’s pressures as well.

Living a life of faith is more than a Sunday commitment—it’s a way of life, our “Christian business.” Walking in the light means following Jesus wholeheartedly. If we claim to abide in Him, we must make His leading our top priority, tuning our hearts to His voice each day. The Holy Spirit is devoted to helping us know and follow Jesus; let’s heed His guidance from a tender age, allowing it to shape us at every stage of life.

One beautiful truth is that following Jesus comes with rewards. But loyalty to Him isn’t just for our own benefit. Our faith makes things better for us, while our life of love makes things better for others. When we walk closely with Jesus, He calls us to be available to those who are walking with Him as well, to support and encourage one another.

Our walk with the Lord is deeply personal—it’s the extent to which we believe what He says to us. This journey is not one of random chance but a purposeful path of communication and obedience. God has something unique in mind for each of us, and it’s on us to believe in that vision He has laid out.

If there’s one thing we know, it’s this: nobody becomes what God has designed for them by chance; it’s through loyal belief. Believing isn’t passive—it’s an intentional commitment to live by the truths God reveals to us. And here’s the best part: when we believe, we’re actively setting ourselves on the path of freedom. It’s not just about knowing the truth; it’s about living out that truth each day.

As we move through November, let’s keep our hearts focused on Jesus, our source of strength and direction. May we all find joy in following Him, applying ourselves to His truths with intentionality and love. Remember, the victory He has given us is both for today’s pleasures and tomorrow’s pressures.

May this month bring you closer to Christ and may His light guide you in all you do.

We have an exciting teaching series this month, show up, learn and invite your friends. You know we are well fed in MICC and Jesus is good to us.

Take a few minutes everyday this month to pray for Rev. Shola Olayemi, Pst. Nike Olayemi and all our Pastorate. Will you promise me that?
