The Archdiocese of Omaha, the Diocese of Lincoln and the Diocese of Grand Island are joining together to offer Nebraska Catholic Day of Giving this upcoming Wednesday, May 6th.
Through this initiative, the hope is to inspire faithful stewards throughout the state to share their blessings willingly and lovingly and to create a wave of generosity and provide donors with the opportunity to give back in support of the organizations that have helped to shape their lives of faith.
Supporting MHSF will help us continue to grow and also attain the following:
Continue to develop initiatives for families surrounding Eucharistic Adoration & family formation and to create more parish formation materials
Eliminate barriers for couples to join MHSF such as: financing formation costs via scholarships or support systems
Host more events for families locally and regionally
Growth of MHSF Chapters statewide and throughout the Midwest
Raise funds for those in Kasese, Uganda, hoping to start an MHSF chapter and grow our mission internationally
And long term, we hope to establish an MHSF “Home” (HQ) to host our own retreats, events, and other activities for families.
If you would like to donate early, you can do so still, or wait until May 6th.
Bishop Conley has been a great ambassador for MHSF over the years- helping to advise, promote, and pray for our mission and the many families involved. This year he released his five-year pastoral plan, “One Heart in Christ”.
MHSF helps develop and foster an environment through intentional formation and community that aids married couples in becoming all that they are called to be in light of the Gospel.
Thank you for your prayers and generosity!
