What a fab night launching Wilomina in Glasgow at Waterstones, Sauchiehall Street! It was fantastic to see a full house, and there was a wonderful warm and convivial atmosphere. Thanks to everyone for coming, you made it such a special evening, and we truly appreciate it and are so grateful for your support. We’re especially touched that Julia Sanderson, our wonderful editor at Scholastic, came all the way up from London to celebrate the book’s release and to say a few introductory words.

It was so busy the shop sold out of all the copies of our book, and we only managed to catch up with everyone for a few minutes between doing the talk and signing copies of Wilomina. Apologies if we missed talking to some of you. Thanks to Bob McDevitt for taking all the photos and reels. Bob is not only a great photographer, he’s head honcho behind Bloody Scotland and Aye Write. And thanks to Waterstones for hosting the event and making feel so welcome.
