Wow so Kiasmos' new release, which is is a (lovely) total rework of their previous album by several artists, also has its own video for every track. https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=_WphLQ6BVJ M&list=PLXX95UG4BJZo&index=2 # theStudio

The RND by Cyma Forma is a one-button oddity that generates random sequences, up to four voices with eight different synth engines. It's dead simple : no preset, no snapshot, no other controls, you just press that button and you get some most often good sounding small piece of electronic weirdness (though you can use MIDI to isolate a voice, select a scale or play along, among other tweaks). I've…
Thanks to my girlfriend, I'm now apparently addicted to Korean reality dating shows. I've avoided TV most of my life as I tend to despise mass media, but... Turns out my likely autistic brain and my obvious alexithymia mean I always had issues understanding emotions. And watching people struggling with their own emotions is extremely helpful. It's a bit like a documentary. I'm relearning things I…
My old friend Justin, who makes RPG in a Box, a very beginner friendly game engine built upon Godot, has launched a GoFundMe campaign with his with wife Sarah, because yes, this kind of # indiedev is hard to fund. It' pretty cool to make RPG indeed, with simple voxel models and visual scripting, but also all kinds of adventure and narrative games, and even platformers and shooters. I've used it…
If you like heavy cinematic # ambient and # drone music, expertly saturated layers of deep emotions, most of Rafael Anton Irisarri's albums are pay-what-you-want on Bandcamp at the moment: https:// irisarri.bandcamp.com/
It feels so cozy to have so many people listening to the new Boards of Canada album at the same time. Even if it's definitely some kind of apocalyptic soundtrack, it's still beautiful and wholesome and its vibe has the power to bring people together. And that's awesome.
family death, ambient music My mom wanted my music to be played at her funeral. Nothing was fitting. So I composed this on an impulse, in a couple of days. I made two versions. The first one sounded a bit too harsh at first. I recorded some handpan, tweaked a few things. The changes were too heavy for my gear, and I had to make the track shorter. Now I like both versions. This could have been the…
You'll be happy to know that my parrot dances like crazy when hearing Angine de Poitrine. It's been the hightlight of my day. # ParrotPosting
I’ve received my Mörk Borg order and that’s the first time I actually want to keep the package and maybe even put it on display instead of giving it to my parrot (who is a living shredding machine). I mean, look at this. # TTRPG
After years of hearing about Mörk Borg, I finally took a look and instantly ordered the core book and Cy_ Borg as well. I mean, I didn’t think the general tone and aesthetics would slap so hard. I’m pretty impressed by how immersive that merciless punk energy is. Layout, colors and typography are all over the place, it’s pure chaos yet oddly harmonious. Rules are simple, texts are awfully grim but…
Not sure how I missed this, but Röyksopp's Nebulous Nights is an astounding # ambient masterpiece. https:// youtu.be/t6yxvAtKASE?si=GfmTvA JchlH9GrqZ # theStudio
I heard it's # BandcampFriday so if you're in the mood for an experimental, 52 tracks, 7+ hour long # ambient and # downtempo album with hints of # acid , # dubtechno and # idm , feel free to grab mine, it's free: https:// lectronice.bandcamp.com/album/ sike-telo
I've been staying at my mom's place for a while, and she has a lot of cats. My parrot has decided that the best way to catch my attention is to meow even more exaggeratedly than the cats, who sometimes simply enjoy screaming extremely loudly (don't ask, it's their usual behavior for some feline reason.) And it's hilarious, but the more the parrot does that, the harder it is to know who's meowing,…
I’ve received a new # keyboard that I backed long ago and I think it will be a bit painful to learn. This chorded monstruosity is extremely configurable (split in half, with added modules like a trackball, etc.) not to mention the bazillion software options. Time to remap my brain I guess. No, you’re not supposed to put your hands on this, only your fingertips 😂
I made a seven hours and half long album of rather good music this year. I suppose I can say it was a productive year, even if I've learned to hate that word. I think it's rather good because I had a lot of fun making it and a few people have enjoyed it. Some of them even sent me money despite the album being free. So I feel validated as an artist. I could have carried on next year, but I'd like…
Did you think I skipped the last track of 2025? Nope. I just decided to spend more time with loved ones instead of strictly following my schedule. I initially planned to release this earlier, and now it's one day late... But what is one day in one year? Anyway, here's the 52nd track of the year: https:// lectronice.bandcamp.com/track/ tenpo-pini-li-kama It's... a lot of things. Mostly # ambient I…
It's time for the penultimate track of 2025 :) This is mainly # ambient , with a little bit of # techno https:// lectronice.bandcamp.com/track/ mi-awen-pilin At first I wanted to keep it beatless, but after a while, the vibrato was asking for a bass, and that bass was of course calling for a kick, so... It's a bit more rhythmic than what I initially wanted to do. However, everything fell in place…
Here comes track number 50... That's a lot of tracks for an album, isn't it? This started as minimal # techno vaguely reminiscent of some Plastikman records, but it quickly turned into something a bit more funny. https:// lectronice.bandcamp.com/track/ lape-li-pona Apparently, I can't help it, at some point anything I make that sounds too serious will get some silly melody treatment. And that's…
Aaaand it's time for the 49th track of 2025 :) Once again, it's a bit hard to describe. I'd say this is some kind of # lofi # hiphop with a light # IDM vibe. It's kind of silly and bouncy yet rather laid back at the same time. https:// lectronice.bandcamp.com/track/ tomo-tawa-loje At first it was challenging to continue from the previous track, because the bass was too dark for my taste and I had…
If you need a quick lesson in humility, I suggest trying to swing a 32 kg # kettlebell when you’re used to a 20 kg one. I bought two 12-32 kg modular kettlebells because I thought they’d make a worthy investment for more advanced training. And I was absolutely right. It will clearly take me years before being able to swing that confidently. I also bought a mace because I was feeling adventurous……
