Give your desire for revenge to God, love your enemies, and trust Him to bring justice.

When life is not as it should be, lament keeps us turned toward the King.

Psalm 13 gives us language to honestly cry out to God in our waiting, and turn our lament into praise.

Waiting reveals what we believe, but trusting God to hear, rescue, and restore us gives us a story that leads others to Him.

Forget not the God who forgives, redeems, satisfies, and shows compassion. He never forgets His people and, in Christ, remembers our sins no more.

Psalm 1 invites us to find true life and lasting delight by rooting ourselves in God’s Word through every season of the soul.

(Exodus 3-4) God's call of Moses from the burning bush teaches us that true adequacy is not found in our status, works, or relationships, but in God.

(Matthew 28:16-20) Jesus calls us to make disciples of all nations, to baptize, and to teach His commandments, promising that the Holy Spirit is with us.

The great commandment (alongside the great commission) has technically been the mandate for every New Testament church ever since Jesus said it. According to Christ, to love God (with all our being) and to love our neigbors (as we love ourselves), also forms the premise of the Old Testament law & prophets.

(Matthew 22) Jesus calls His people to reject political extremes and live as faithful sojourners by participating in the common good, honoring earthly authorities, loving the family of believers, and fearing God above all.
