This coming Monday, 29 June, I'm hosting a free, live, two-hour gathering on the therapeutic use of music: an open evening built around questions that come up in this work, explored together in real time.
The Q&A portions of my webinar series are often where the most valuable insights emerge, so this time I'm dedicating a whole session to conversation
In these 2 hours I will:
Facilitate conversations and answer questions posed and voted for by participants
Share new developments, including the launch of an online community and collective and new training initiatives.
Some of the questions we might explore:
How to choose music that is genuinely effective
How to understand what a particular piece is eliciting in someone
When words help and when non-lyrical music serves better
How to respond when a client dislikes the music
How music can become harmful, and where that boundary lies.
There will be plenty of room given to bring your own questions, topics and challenges .
Part of what makes these evenings special is the company. We're joined by people from all over the world, and some of the most valuable moments come from hearing how others are working through common challenges, and the insights they share.
It won't be recorded, so it really is one to join live if you can.
