Melody Hansen · PRETEND IT EXISTS

Sundays are for nostalgic joy
and ski documentaries from the archives!

When I don’t know what to draw, I refer back to old cartoons and animated characters and replicate them

I also made this fun miniature for NYE for Crown Affair

I’ve also made some mood boards

I believe imagination is at the source of who we are. Fantasy is a way to escape reality. What if imagination is where we come from, and fantasy isn’t to escape who we are, but rather to get closer to the source, to what we’ve always been?

I’m verrryy into ski fashion and aesthetics, especially of the 70s, so much so that one of the fictional worlds I have in mind for a story is revolved around its wardrobe. So, please enjoy these old ski editorial layouts.
