Paradoxically though, skill is empty without Art. Modern culture says: “Collect more skills, refine your technique, and maybe one day you’ll be good enough to call yourself a creator.”
But the vibrancy of Art becomes dull when discipline overshadows presence.
This is because skill is a natural byproduct of creating and to place it above Art is to tether creativity to illusory gains and confuse truth with expectation.
In doing so, we lose the very magic of what makes art, Art:
