Dear writers, hello! My next bi-monthly “Submit or Quit Event” will take place on August 2nd for paid subscribers to this newsletter. The event will be asynchronously, so writers worldwide can pop in any time of the day or evening. Below the paywall is a link to the private Submit or Quit Substack, open to all paid members.
Please note” that most of the posts on the Submit or Quit newsletter won’t go live until August 2nd.
Because the numbers of lit mags are overwhelming, I will be curating and posting links to a handful of open and interesting submissions opportunities. If you are a lit magazine editor, it would be wonderful if you could let us know if (or when) you have an upcoming open submissions call.
The goal for participating writers will be to commit to submitting to at least 3 publications on the Submit or Quit Event day.
Writers will be encouraged to let the others know when they have met their goals, and it will encourage others to do the same.. I’d love it if you would like to post words of wisdom and humor, as submitting is tiring, and we could all use a boost!
