Last night, I finished reading a book I was not ready to be done with. About 100 pages from the end, I realized this would be the start of a series. I want more of the world and characters, but I’m not looking forward to the year long wait for book two. This is why I prefer reading finished series! I am not patient enough for this. I’ve got way to many still open series in my life right now.
Recently, I was scrolling through all the books on my Pinterest TBR list. I deleted some books I’ve read and others I’m not longer interested in. When I came across The Last One I had no memory of what it was about. It took two sentences of summary for me to remember why it was on my list. It’s basically another Hunger Games like story but more survival in the woods.
