Summer nostalgia is in the air and there is nothing quite like a stripe! It’s as classic as a white linen shirt on a sailboat. Stripes evoke the pure essence of summer — freedom, innocence and unapologetic joy. That special kind of feeling that only exists this time of year, and the feeling seems more palpable now than ever. Perhaps it’s this awareness of how fleeting time is and how life is moving at a rapid speed as we grow. All I am craving is the slow, good ol’ simple dog days of summer. Turning the news off, tuning out any excess noise and yanking up the volume of my playlists and the happy giggles from my children.
