Cohost began distributing its data exports today. It's really bittersweet still. Cohost being read only right now too feels pretty rough and I still reflexively open it up to start my work day. Got the scaffolding set up for the Blog page - I'm probably going to be wholesale importing my longform Cohost posts when Cohost data export is fully available. I'm also considering having a seperate RSS feed for my shortform posts (what would be the equivalent of tweets) so folks can optionally pick either longer form blog posts or shortform shitposts and musings.

I genuinely still can't believe Cohost is going to be shutting down this year. I've said it on some of my other spaces, but no other site has, will, or will ever reach the same level of community, discovery, and general 'pleasant-to-be-at-vibes' that Cohost was in. Really, really going to miss it.
