I must begin by expressing my dismay and sorrow for those in the Appleton, WI area who were attacked by a tornado on Monday. I exhibited at the Trout Museum-sponsored Art at the Park in Appleton over the weekend. I was a first-timer. I’m trying to get a feel for Wisconsin as a possible final landing place that does not involve owning a home.
Home ownership is a lot of work. Losing your home to a weather event is a lot, period.
We had a wonderful time at the art fair. People were so nice and made us feel good about being there.
Late Autumn found a new home with a happy Appleton family.
It was hot. The nail polish on one of my toes melted in my sock! Unexpected things happen all the time.
Next up is the Uptown Art Fair, which has been through some big changes of location in the last number of years. This year is exciting because it’s located at Lake of the Isles, one of the most walked areas in the Metro.
I do not have a photo credit for these. Sorry.
It’s also a three-day fair this year. What a great way to spend time at Lake of the Isles.
