The Uptown Art Fair will make its highly anticipated return in 2026, reimagined as “Art on the Isles,” a scenic new setting along Lake of the Isles Parkway, marking a major milestone in the ongoing revitalization of Uptown, according to new Uptown Association Executive Director Stefani Pennaz. Still waiting to hear back from other fairs. I’ll let you know if there is a location or two to add.

Watch for my new booth, built by Keith and based on a design by one of my favorite people, David Austin. Clean look. Wood panel walls. More fabulous abstract art.

These are the last two paintings created in May. I had to stop so Keith has time to make all the frames we need for fairs. Both are soft and moody in a good way.

I’ve also been painting colorful underglazes on greenware to build a second collection of mind maps, although I don’t know if that will be the title. I won’t know until I’m deep into the process. Detail takes a long time.

All the Mind Maps ceramic pieces are ready for assembly and mounting. This clay sculpture adventure has been fun and surprising. I am in love with what I’ve done so far!

I’m probably forgetting something or many things. I gotta say, my health has been good of late, so I’m getting a lot accomplished. Garden and yard plantings and clean up continue. Thrilled to see so many Milkweed plants in the perennial bed, which is actually a perennial jungle. That’s a job to tackle a bit at a time.

Last fall, I created some garden flag designs from my million or so photos. Check these out and feel free to order one or more. Thanks!
