Let's Just Call It the Summer Wrap

This is where we’d ask about how everyone feels about summer ending, but one of us lives in the land of perpetual summer and also, global warming is real, so we’re still going to have 80 degree days in October. Summer isn’t over any time soon.

BTW, this is subterfuge to distract you from realizing we didn’t put out a July wrap. But is everyone else have the hardest time concentrating on… anything? The vibe is like we’re on the cusp of major change in this country (because we HAVE to be) so it’s a struggle to focus. Whether its Schrodinger’s Senator or watching the Justice Department try to create a federal case against a former Olympian to cover up a shoddy no-bid contract, it feels like we’re in too much flux to just write a post about a new haircut. (Jen got a new haircut, which you’ll see on the pod. Let’s just say “seven inches” is the new “two inches.”) Also, it’s got to be champagne o’clock soon, right?

Yet, we’re here now, so hi! Let’s talk about all the things that have held our attention over the past few months.
