The future can feel uncertain. We may worry about family, health, money, world conditions, or decisions we need to make. But Jehovah gives us a reason to face the future with courage.
Psalm 27:14 says: “Hope in Jehovah; be courageous and strong of heart. Yes, hope in Jehovah.” Courage does not come from knowing every detail ahead of time. It comes from trusting the One who does.
Isaiah 40:31 says: “Those hoping in Jehovah will regain power.” That promise matters when we feel tired, anxious, or worn down. Jehovah can give strength when ours feels low.
He also tells us where things are heading. Revelation 21:4 promises that God “will wipe out every tear” and that “death will be no more.” Psalm 37:29 says: “The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.”
That is not vague hope. It is Jehovah’s purpose.
We may not know what tomorrow brings, but we know Jehovah will keep his promises. So we pray, do what we can today, and keep our eyes on the future he has promised.
With Jehovah, the future is not something to fear. It is something to look toward with confidence.
