Are Mail-In Votes Dead?

I went out for dinner with my wife and mother tonight and missed the Supreme Court’s emergency stay on Trump’s abjectly illegal order to stop mail in voting.

And, from my understanding, an actual ruling on this case should — by all historic and legal accounts — be thrown out with a full-bodied hearing.

BUT, the Roberts court has routinely voted for the idea of a dictatorial Unitary Executive to the point of proving that our Founding Fathers DO NOT have the capability to rise from the dead, break the bounds of their coffins, dig themselves from underground, make a zombie march to D.C., and hold a press conference in front of cameras they could never understand.

So, I’m not predicting that outcome.

And if you want to throw Lincoln in the mix, I’m sorry to say that he especially can’t join the party either given his decades past dead encasement in concrete.

Although I did hear rumors that he was somehow fighting vampires?

Jokes aside. Do not sleep on the SC majority siding with Trump.

We’re already a million miles from objectivity, precedent, and any rational arguments out of the Roberts court. And each and every one of those seven members know their careers are potentially on the line. And there are only two, maybe three, who have not already decided that they are IN of full-on dictatorship in this country.

That is exactly where we are: Democracy v Dictatorship.

But let me tell you this: IT WON’T FUCKING STOP US.

I haven’t driven folks to the polls since 1992. And I did it in 1988 as a teenager.

I will spend EVERY moment on November 3rd driving each and every senior, young person, and anyone without vehicle to get to the polls. We will secure that usually Republican vote and turn the limitation into an advantage.

And I KNOW I’m not alone.

If mail-in voting is killed we will organize a rag-tag armada of the likes not seen since it was done by the British to save their people in France after D Day.

I’d like to say I’d quit my job, but I don’t have one. But, I will stop typing and start driving.

Because if this holds, or not, we are NOT going to be stopped.
