I have some news that makes me proud, grateful, and more determined than ever to finish this campaign strong.
Our campaign raised $97,846.37 between June 29 and July 29, more than any other candidate in Vermont during this filing period.
With in-kind support included, we brought in more than $104,000 in a single month. And since launching this campaign, we have now received nearly $410,000 in total contributions—a new fundraising record for a lieutenant governor primary campaign in Vermont history.
That did not happen because of one person or one big moment.
It happened because people across Vermont decided to invest in this campaign. You chipped in $5, $25, $100. You hosted events, brought friends, put up signs, made calls, shared posts and told people why this race matters.
You believed we could build something real.
And we have.
We outraised every other candidate. Our events have been packed. Our volunteer operation is growing. People are showing up in every corner of Vermont ready to talk about housing, health care, affordability and what it will take to make this state work for working families again.
This campaign is peaking at exactly the right time.
And now we have something else I am incredibly proud to share.
Senator Peter Welch—someone I have worked alongside for more than a decade—has recorded a new television ad explaining why he is supporting me for lieutenant governor.
In it, Peter talks about my honesty, integrity and determination. He talks about the work we have done together for working families and why he believes I have the experience to bring people together and get things done.
That endorsement means a great deal to me personally. But right now, what matters most is making sure Vermonters see it.
Please watch the ad. Share it on Facebook. Post it to Instagram. Text it to five friends. Send it to the person in your life who is still deciding who to vote for.
We have built the resources to communicate across Vermont, and we are putting every dollar to work—on television, streaming, digital advertising, organizing and direct voter contact. During this filing period alone, our campaign invested nearly $149,000, including more than $124,000 in mass media.
But no advertisement can replace a recommendation from someone you trust.
That is why we need you.
There are only a matter of days left until the August 11 primary. This is the moment when every conversation matters, every share matters and every person who decides to step forward can change the outcome of this race.
I am so grateful for everything you have already done.
Now let’s finish this.
Let’s share this energy far and wide. Let’s reach the people who are still making up their minds. Let’s show Vermont what this campaign has become.
We have the momentum.
We are ready to go.
And we are ready to win.
