“Who hurt you” except the one asking is a villain and a hero at the same time. And it’s not a random hero, it’s Robin Hood. And he is not burning the world for you. He is going to stop saving the world in order to save you. Not because you are more important than the whole world. But because you are the whole world for him.
That is the vibe of my Robin Hood books.
My Robin Hood adventure romance series, otherwise known as Outlaws, has had 4 books published so far. But the story is not over—in fact, it’s just only started. Here is what I can tell you about what happens next in the Robin Hood universe.
Book 4 is drafted! It is finally finished. The book is fully written, and beginning its long, arduous but exciting journey through several edits. Anyone excited? Terrified? Just me? Ok.
It has a title! Some eagle-eyed readers have already spotted it on Goodreads, but I have not actually announced it myself. So, drumroll please… The Book 4 title is Die for You.
But wait, there’s more. How many books am I announcing? Not one, not two, but THREE BOOKS. Yes, you read that correctly. What? Three? What? Whaa- *in Jacob Peralta voice*. Book 4 (Die for You or DFU) is not all you are getting. There will be at least 2 more books, and that means 3 new books added to the series. Not only that, but I have almost completed writing all three. Book 5 is completely written, and I have only a few chapters left to write in Book 6 (the most epic ones, as it happens).
Release date? Die for You is coming in autumn 2026, and all three books will follow each other in quick succession.
The preorder link will go live in just a FEW WEEKS! The cover reveal too. This is not a drill. I am so excited I am *shaking*. This has been such a long time coming, you have no idea. (Eras tour reference for my fellow swifties *heh*). I will begin a countdown soon for the cover reveal on my Instagram. Want to help me reveal the absolutely gorgeous cover of Die for You? Please reply to this email, and you will receive it early so that you can post it on the day/week of the reveal. Oh, it is going to be epic, and I so appreciate your help in making it epic in advance.
By the way, did you know that I sent out an excerpt from one of the sequels in my previous newsletter? Which book is it from? *It’s a secret*. It was pretty juicy too, but I did not outright state that it was from an unpublished book, so you may not have noticed it, so go back and read it, it is beyond yummy.
If you want to encourage me, please add Die for You on Goodreads. It lets me know that people are excited to read what I am writing, and it motivates me endlessly. Who knows, I might have the book ready much sooner than the planned date!
If you want an ARC when the time comes, these will be distributed through my reviewers’ group, M.C. Frank’s Mermaids, so join now.
The diaries are back! The Robin Hood diaries, through which I am sharing with you my process with writing, creating and loving these characters, as I enmesh my my Robin Hood’s story with the lore surrounding him from the Medieval times, are both fun and funny. I can’t wait to share them with you and write some new entries as I complete the series that has had my heart for years now…
Finally sharing some burning questions that are going to be answered in these new books: What happens to John? Will Robin realize who Ru is? Will he ever call her by her real name? What about the cat? Does Will Scarlet ever get less tortured or funny? (spoiler: he’s never going to get less funny.) WHAT ABOUT THE CAT? Do we like the new guy? (Avoiding spoilers from Sleep, Robin Hood, but his name starts with ‘A’ and he is making eyes at our favorite golden-haired lady.) Can we trust him? Is the person who got unalived in the last book really gone, or will he pop up to threaten our tortured, idiotic friends some more? *IS THE CAT OK* Will Robin remember his kiss with a certain veiled lady? Is the king alive or not? And, more importantly, what about the cat named Fox? Does he survive Robin’s enemies? Does he survive Robin’s stupidity? Does he thrive? (Spoiler: He does. Of course. But it’s doubtful if anyone else does.)
If you have read this far, I apologize for the information overload. I think we all need a little lie down. Before sharing the links I mentioned above, let me share one of my top favorite aesthetic boards for the Outlaws series, one that has kept me going for the past 2 years while I was drafting Die for You.

Ok, now that we are all good and shaking with excitement, I’ll just say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has been reading these stories and encouraging me to write more. You are priceless. Thank you thank you thank you.
All my love,
M. C. Frank
