There are seasons in life that no calendar can measure.
The season after a goodbye.
The season before a leap of faith.
The season when everything familiar begins to fall away.
The quiet season where nothing seems to be happening, yet everything within us is changing.
I’ve come to believe that much of life is lived in these invisible seasons. We often mistake them for failure, uncertainty, or being lost, when in reality they are preparing us for the person we are becoming.
That realization gave birth to Seasons of Becoming.
This collection was never intended to be a book of answers. It became something much more meaningful, a companion for those moments when language can hold us together while life asks us to come apart.
Every poem grew from lived experience. Some were born from grief. Others from wonder. Some arrived after long walks, difficult conversations, quiet mornings, and moments when the world seemed to whisper truths I wasn’t yet ready to hear.
The seasons became more than metaphors.
They became teachers.
Winter showed me how to endure.
Spring reminded me to trust new beginnings.
Summer taught me presence.
Autumn revealed the quiet beauty of letting go.
If you’ve been following my work—whether through my podcast, my writing, or our shared conversations, you already know that transformation has always been at the heart of what I create.
Not because transformation is easy.
But because it is inevitable.
The question isn’t whether we will change.
The question is whether we’ll meet that change with fear or with curiosity.
Today, I’d like to offer this book as a gift.
For a limited time, Seasons of Becoming is available as a free ebook (with an optional donation for those who wish to support my work).
My hope is simple.
That somewhere within these pages, you’ll encounter a poem that feels as though it found you precisely when you needed it.
Perhaps you’ll underline a passage.
Perhaps you’ll return to a favorite poem years from now.
Perhaps you’ll simply remember that whatever season you’re living through today isn’t the whole story.
Spring has never failed to follow winter.
Light has never abandoned the dawn.
And no soul remains unchanged forever.
If this collection speaks to you, I’d be honored if you’d download a copy.

If the poems resonate with you and you’d like to support future books, essays, podcasts, and creative work, you’ll also have the option to leave a donation—though it is never expected.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for supporting independent art.
And thank you for walking alongside me through these many seasons.
With gratitude,
