“Stop feeling sorry for yourself.”
“No one is coming to discover you and make your dreams come true.”
Two of the hardest things I’ve ever had to digest. But my life changed completely the moment I truly processed them.
No one was coming. It was on me to believe in my own talent, to cheer myself on, to build something worth standing behind. So I got to work. And I kept going.
Growth lives in that discomfort. Realizing that everything depends on you, and that you shouldn’t feel sorry about it, is deeply unsettling at first. But it’s also the most freeing thing I’ve ever felt.
Here’s what I hold onto now:
if you keep showing up every single day, the results you’re after will have no other choice but to follow.
So keep going.
And why not start by becoming your own biggest fan?
That’s my mindset now.
For the wild,
Maya
