Alberta's grievances should be with Alberta

In Alberta, it’s grievances all the way down. I’ve tried to argue against that culture in the past, but even for a guy who clearly enjoys pushing the same rock up the same hill I have to acknowledge that this isn’t one I’m going to win. And so, a new argument is born: Albertans should try blaming the level of government that’s actually doing the damage to them.

That’s the lead in this week’s Receipts newsletter. It also covers the never-ending debate over whether TMX was a good investment (it was) and a window into the supposedly “fact-based” conversation that oil and gas industry supporters actually want to have.
