I really enjoy seeing painting analyses like this. I find it gives me real inspiration on how I can create depth and emotion into my color… A great watch for anyone who wants to emphasise more emotion in their work.

The Wrong Color Theory Article

A great article on using the ‘ugly color’. I’ve felt this way when coloring; it can make for interesting looks. It often creates opposing contrasts to create uniqueness. Although this article is for interior design, it can be applied to anything.

I’m always amazed by the way light reacts with color, and how they work so harmoniously with man’s creations and Mother Nature. This is a perfect example of the collaboration to great effect.

Some Music To Work To

I can’t remember if I’ve recommended this before, but I have to do a shout-out. Radio Paradise. My favourite station to listen to music while coloring. Incredible, eclectic, no ads, and controlled by real people. Listener-funded. Highly, highly recommend.
