My hobby: watching old science fiction and ret-conning the misogyny with as much head-canon as it takes. Guy in It! The Terror From Beyond Space, to one of the female crew: "Listen, Chicken... Everything is going to be fine." Me: "Her callsign is 'Chicken.' She got it from a dogfight where she charged an enemy plane head-on until it veered off and she took it apart with her guns."
