Where did time go?

We invented email to make communication faster.

Cars to get places quicker.

Laptops to work from anywhere.

Smartphones to handle everything instantly.

Now AI can do it all in seconds…

And somehow…

nobody has any time.

That’s strange when you think about it.

Every minute we save

seems to get filled immediately.

Another task.

Another expectation.

Another thing we can now squeeze into the day.

Efficiency didn’t create empty space.

It created capacity.

And we filled it.

Then filled it again.

Maybe that’s where the time went…

We became so good at saving it

that we forgot the reason for saving it in the first place.

To have some left.

For dinner that runs long.

For sitting outside.

For doing absolutely nothing.

Perhaps the next great invention isn’t something that saves us more time.

It’s learning to stop filling every minute we save.
