Real Clear Politics’ best-in-class polling average has us leading by less than half a percentage point over increasingly unpopular incumbent Republican Senator Dan Sullivan. That means we’re in a closer race than any other state with a Senate contest this year.
With margins this tight, the DC Republican establishment and their billionaire donors are going to pour everything they have into defeating me and propping up Dan Sullivan. Alaskans are already being pummeled with attack ads, and they’re only going to ramp up in these last 10 weeks.
As you’re reading this, the entire weight of the rigged system in DC – the billionaires and super PACs that back my opponent – is mobilizing to defeat me. We’re already facing tens of millions of dollars of outside spending. And that’s just the beginning.
They don’t like that I’m exposing their self-dealing and running to stop their corruption. But systemic change is the only way we’re going to lower costs, bring abundance back to our homes, and save our way of life.
