Man, how a month flies by. I want to thank everyone who has patiently been waiting for the next installment of the story to come out. I spent the first few weeks of my sabbatical staring into the abyss wondering how I was ever going to come back to writing.
My dad was one of my first supporters. His loss hit hard.
When I was younger, I announced I wanted to be editor of the New York Times. This was when I was in sixth or seventh grade. I was an avid reader and I got the idea from a book.
He immediately started clipping newspaper articles about writing and authors he thought I would find interesting or helpful and did that for the rest of his life. It came to a point that it was almost annoying that he gave me all this paper to deal with, but he meant well.
I will miss getting these little reminders of his faith in me.
After staring into the void, where did I end up? Well, I wrote a little. It came slowly and painfully, but eventually I was able to write again, but I have not been able to do as much as I wanted.
So, I’m going to ask for more patience on your part. I’m going to continue my Sabbatical through June. It wasn’t what I wanted to do, but life sometimes kicks you in the teeth. This is one of those times.
I thank those who will stick with me during this difficult time.

P.S My husband’s new hobby is turning our cats into royalty on AI. I present to you King Motron.
