The above photo was taken by yours truly at the Broad Museum here in Los Angeles at a retrospective of Yoko Ono’s work. It was an AMAZING exhibit and I’m sorry if you didn’t see it. Hopefully, it will come your way one of these days.

Well, people. In honor of Yoko Ono, that’s all I’m going to give you. Somewhere in these two pieces of art is a prompt just for you!
Okay, I’ll give you a bit more:
As in the first photo, select a subject. Any subject. Now write a five million page story using that subject as your jumping off point. Some ideas: Refrigerator, bookshelf, heat wave, babies, road trip, humiliation, mistakes, cupcakes.
(This one’s the real prompt.) As in the second photo, write a story about a person who is always calling attention to themselves in some way. Maybe they pretend to be sick. Maybe the first thing they tell people about is their Mensa membership. Maybe they have a disturbing tattoo on their forehead. You’ll think of something!
