I felt guided to share
with you brother
on the Aramaic
language
that Jesus spoke
and how our Celtic monks
understood
the Semitic Christ
I did not
follow that prompt

for what you awakened in us:
our language,
the land we stand on,
the soul
of our wild
awake essences
your brief time here
has broken us open
given word, wonder
and love
to what we have
fumbled with
fly brother
you a fire-starter
be again
the trailblazer
