Living below your means, having less stuff, and valuing simplicity aren’t exactly the defaults in today’s fast-paced world. Speaking from personal experience, even when you feel deeply convicted about this way of living, it can feel pretty lonely and isolating at times. That’s why I find it so helpful to seek out people who live similarly and share about it thoughtfully, then curate my feeds around them.
Today, I’m inspired to share all the people who encourage me to live simply and get back on track whenever I feel myself slipping into less-than-ideal habits. This is by no means an exhaustive list, and I’m sure I’ve forgotten plenty of favorites, but these are some of the resources and creators I’ve resonated with the most over the years. We’d all absolutely love if you shared yours in the comments as well!
Minimal Mom - Dawn is so wholesome and down-to-earth, shows real life, and makes minimalism seem super approachable. I learn something new from every video. A few favorite videos: Whole House Declutter, On ‘Hushing’ the Kids’ Room, Minimalist Cleaning Routine.
Madisun Gray - Absolutely beautiful videos on minimalism and slow living, plus her family is traveling the world right now (3 kids included) and sharing their journey. A few favorite videos: Minimalist House Tour, Homeschool Week in the Life, A Month in Italy
Paper Town Home - Erika is steering away from minimalism content now, but I still love her simple living and parenting videos. A few favorites: The 30-min Method to Ditch 99% of the Toys, Declutter 500 Items in 30 Days, My Organized Minimalist House.
Christina Mychas - A newer to me channel, so I don’t have any favorite videos as of yet, but it’s very much about mindful spending and minimalism.
