It’s not always easy to be everywhere at once.
Sometimes it helps to stop for a moment, make a bit of space and go back to what you’ve already done, just to look again.
Without realizing it, we often drift away from the parts of the work that actually sustain it. I think it matters to return to places that don’t compete inside an endless scroll, places that let you look with time and attention, and even a quiet sense of pride in what you do.
Recently I was going through old files, emails and folders, just trying to put things in order. That’s what brought me back to my website, my portfolio, which I finally took the time to update. It wasn’t especially exciting, these projects are no longer in process and I already know how they end, but coming back to them turned out to be more interesting than I expected.
Some of them still feel solid. Some processes, the sketches, the conversations around each project, even the relationships that grew around them. Going back like this isn’t a bad exercise.
It’s a way of looking at your work again, of taking it seriously, and maybe doing it with a bit more care and a bit more kindness.
These are some of the projects I have been revisiting.
If you feel like taking a closer look, you can explore the work here:

This is where all of this lives. I am leaving you a space where you can search, look, read and see some professional projects, as well as my urban sketching sketchbooks, many of them still in the process of being scanned.
I’ll be sharing some of these projects here with more context and in softer, more relaxed formats. They are all there. I’ve been thinking about sharing some of these projects in more detail here, not only the final results but also the less visible parts, like sketches, processes and what gets left out.
I would also like to share full sketchbooks from time to time, and especially talk about what happens behind the work, the decisions I make, the ideas that come up and the emotions that move through each project. If this is something you would like to see, feel free to let me know.
