A Dry Storm

This morning I watched the geese land on our pond

It's a clear, sunny morning with little to no wind

What a contrast to yesterday

Where the wind buffeted our house

Until it seemed it would blow the house down

We found Lattes box from Chewy

Out in the barn lot far from the Amazon drop off spot by our gate

Wildfires cropped up all out west

Some south and a few north of us

Firefighters were overwhelmed at Mannford

Some houses even burned it was so sad

We went to bed a bit anxious as sirens screamed

But we awoke to a peaceful morning

Thank God

What a difference prayer and a day makes
