In early May, I was driving home from the beach late in the afternoon. I had a car full of Gracie and her girlfriends and we were coming home from a birthday beach day. All the girls had spent the night the night before, so I had been up late. After a long day at the beach on top of that, I was exhausted.
So exhausted that as I was coming off the interstate ramp about 5 minutes from my house, I fell asleep while I was driving.
I went through a stop light and rear-ended a car that was stopped at the next stop light. I hit them without any brake, going about 25 miles an hour. It was hard enough that four cars ended up being hit.
