Years ago, my friends and I came up with a book called “The I Hate to Read Book”. It was a strange tale about a boy who refused to read and the browbeater book that bullied him into reading.
The sketches and script for this book sat in a file (mostly forgotten) until I decided the idea needed to be revisited. So I reworked the story (made it even more ridiculous) and I even illustrated the first few pages. BUT, in the end, I decided to shelve the darn thing . . . again.
