LOVE NOTE FROM THE UNIVERSE

Sweetness,

Your feelings were never meant to become permanent residents in the basement of your soul. Give them language. Speak with honesty, kindness, and courage—even when your voice trembles. Those who truly love you may not always agree, but they will want to understand. You are not “too much” for having feelings. The right people will not require your silence to keep the peace.

With Infinite Love,
The Universe

REFLECTION

Many of us learned to hide our feelings because silence once felt safer.

We became agreeable when we were hurt.

We said, “It’s fine,” when it absolutely was not fine.

We swallowed disappointment, softened our boundaries, and tried to keep everyone comfortable—sometimes at the expense of our own emotional well-being.

But unspoken feelings do not simply disappear.

They often return as resentment, anxiety, exhaustion, physical tension, or an argument about a dirty coffee cup that was never really about the coffee cup.

Expressing your feelings does not mean saying everything the moment you feel it. It means taking time to understand what is happening within you and then communicating it with honesty and care.

There is a difference between expressing a feeling and using it as a weapon.

“I feel hurt and would like to talk about what happened” creates an opening.

“You never care about me” creates a courtroom—and suddenly everyone is presenting evidence.

Healthy expression allows us to speak our truth without punishing someone else with it.

Not everyone will understand your feelings. Some people may become uncomfortable because they benefited from your silence. Their discomfort does not automatically mean that you have done something wrong.

Your feelings are messengers. Listen to them, learn from them, and give them a respectful voice.

THE WHISPER BACK FROM THE UNIVERSE

“I can hold the truth of what I feel without shame. My honest voice is not a burden; it is a bridge to deeper understanding.”

A GENTLE REMINDER

You do not need to apologize for having feelings. You are responsible for how you express them—but you are never wrong simply because you feel them.

SOUL-WRITING PROMPTS

  • What feeling have I been afraid to express?

  • What am I worried will happen if I speak honestly?

  • Where did I learn that keeping the peace was more important than telling the truth?

  • What do I need the other person to understand?

  • How can I express myself without blaming, attacking, or abandoning my own needs?

SUGGESTED ACTIONS

  • Name the feeling before beginning the conversation.

  • Wait until you feel calm enough to speak clearly.

  • Use “I feel” and “I need” instead of accusations.

  • Ask the other person if they are willing and available to listen.

  • Write your feelings privately first if speaking them feels difficult.

  • Remember that expressing yourself does not guarantee agreement—but it does allow you to be honest.

PRAYER BACK TO THE UNIVERSE

Beloved Universe,

Help me find the courage to express what lives within my heart. Give me the wisdom to know when to speak, the patience to choose my words carefully, and the strength to remain honest without becoming unkind. Release me from the belief that I must hide my feelings to be loved. Guide me toward relationships where truth is welcomed, emotions are respected, and understanding can grow.

Amen.
