Make some Hummus or buy it if you want. Spread it out on a lovely platter then scatter cut veggies on top, I used cucumber, cherry tomatoes cut in half, peppers, pitted Kalamata olives & some roasted Chick Peas. To roast the chickpeas preheat your oven to 425f line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drain the canned chickpeas & dry with a clean dish towel. I like to put the chickpeas into bowl to oil & season them. Drizzle olive oil over the chickpeas & season with any seasoning you like! I like them spiced with some Zatar spice or just some Kosher salt. Using your hands, toss the chickpeas with the oil & spices so that they are all coated with both. Spread the chickpeas evenly on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake until nice & crispy for about 20-25 minutes or longer if needed. You can toss them around while they are baking with a spatula! Remove from the oven and let cool.
Layer all the components to your Hummus Platter any way you like. Serve with pita triangles, mini naan breads * I buy these at Costco & love them, or crackers! & don’t forget a fork!! and some appetizer plates! People love this!
If you have Falafel Balls these are excellent on this platter too!
Let me know if you try this and what you think about it
