I now have 6 students enrolled in my upcoming long-format calligraphy course, which means the course is officially going ahead — yay!!
I would also love to share more exciting news:
Last month, I offered my first free online lecture, which received over 60 registrations from calligraphy enthusiasts around the world. I initially scheduled the lecture for an Australian audience, who were the first to sign up (many thanks!). Three weeks later, 73% of registrations were coming from Europe + The Americas, which was a wonderful surprise.
For this reason, I’ve decided to open a second free online lecture on April 18th (European + The Americas-friendly time zone), as I’m hoping to meet some of you and answer any additional questions that may arise. You can register for free here.

After hosting my first free online calligraphy lecture last month, I received many messages from people in Europe + the Americas who couldn’t attend live due to the time difference.
So I’m happy to share that I’ll be hosting a second free session this month at a more international-friendly time.

On April 9th, I’ll be giving a guest lecture as part of the Latin Two Practica Program.
This lecture is divided into two parts. The first is a short 20-minute presentation, where I’ll focus on the benefits of practising calligraphy and how to apply them in the fields of type design, visual communication, branding, and artistic production.
The second part is a practical demo, where I’ll explain 9 principles to better understand alphabets, based on the construction of its letterforms with the writing tool.
The Latin Two Practica Program will guide you step by step through the process of turning one single font style into a type family. By the end of this online fifteen-week program, you’ll have:
