ANC Election, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Friends of Rosedale Rec.

Dear All,

Happy early Thanksgiving. I am coming out of my email retirement to send three quick updates of important events in the community that I want to make sure everyone is aware of in the coming days and weeks.

The election to replace me will take place on Dec. 6 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Rosedale Recreation Center. I want to say thank you to both Dominic Pacheco and Stephanie DeLuca for being willing to serve and running for the seat. It takes a lot to put yourself out there.

Please join the Rosedale Community this Friday from 2-6pm for a free home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner at the Rosedale Recreation Center. There will be resources and lots of fun activities. If you are interested in donating, you can do it here or if you want to volunteer, you can just show up!

Please join a group of Rosedale community members on Monday, December 1st from 7:00-8:00pm to explore creating a Friends of the Rosedale Recreation Center. The idea for the Friends of the Rosedale Recreation Center is to bring neighbors together to support, strengthen, and celebrate our community hub. The group, if formed, would advocate and raise funds for programs, equipment and staffing, and create opportunities for residents of all ages to connect, learn, and thrive at the Rosedale Recreation Center.
