Marcel van Oost · Connecting the Dots in FinTech - Europe

Hey FinTech Fanatic!

This last week, I covered how liquidity, supervision, and distribution are tightening across Europe’s financial infrastructure.

On one side, Noah is pushing a just-in-time treasury model, using stablecoin rails to replace traditional pre-funding and unlock trapped working capital in cross-border flows. On another, Greece’s tax authority is expanding oversight through BANCAPP, bringing players like Revolut and Viva into a broader taxpayer data framework.

At the same time, leadership shifts continue to shape the ecosystem, with former Starling Bank CEO John Mountain joining savings platform Stoa to scale product and bank partnerships.

Different angles, same direction.

Europe’s FinTech, Payments, and Digital Banking landscape is becoming faster, more regulated, and more capital-efficient at the same time 👇

Cheers,

Marcel
