Hello Church,I hope you are well. This Sunday is Trinity Sunday. This is the Sunday that we reflect on a triune God and the mystery of the Holy Trinity. Through the ages great theologians have spent many hours studying and trying to explain the Holy Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I can point you to books and we can have a scholarly discussion about it. However, at the end of the day there are just some things that we have to have faith for. And now, may we be united as the body of Christ, enabling us to carry the peace and love of God to the world and our community. Amen!
We have a new administrative assistant at the church. Her name is Jennifer Garber. Most weeks she will be in the office from 9am - 1pm, Monday - Thursday. Feel free to stop by and meet her if you would like. We also have a new church email. Pastor Joe can still be reached at marcelineumc@gmail.com or his personal email. If you need to email Jennifer or the church office the email will now be marcelineumcoffice@gmail.com
The Community garden has been planted. This garden provides free produce to those who need it. Please feel free to harvest what you need when it comes time. There is a sign up sheet in the back of the Sanctuary for watering the garden. If you would like to participate in this ministry please sign up.
Meeting on June 24th in Meadville at 1pm. Anyone who crochets or knits or would like to learn for this ministry is welcome to attend. Quilters interested in making prayer lap robes are also invited.. You are welcome to come even if you are just interested in learning what the ministry is about.
