They Don’t Need to Go Away.

Hello Church,I hope you are well. Something that I have been thinking about this week is faith, fear, and the bits and pieces. Faith tells us that the antidote to fear and insufficiency is found in taking the meager bits of what we have and inviting Jesus to bless them and use them for the sake of a broken world.. And now, may we be united as the body of Christ, enabling us to carry the peace and love of God to the world and our community. Amen!

We have a new administrative assistant at the church. Her name is Jennifer Garber. Most weeks she will be in the office from 9am - 1pm, Monday - Thursday. Feel free to stop by and meet her if you would like. We also have a new church email. Pastor Joe can still be reached at marcelineumc@gmail.com or his personal email. If you need to email Jennifer or the church office the email will now be marcelineumcoffice@gmail.com

Inviting all the ladies of the church to join us at Orpha Circle at 1:30 on the second Wednesday of each month. Please let Carol Logue know if a better time would work for everyone.

Join us in worship on Sunday August 23rd for the blessing of the backpacks. All School age children are encouraged to bring their backpacks as well as teachers and other school personnel so that we may bless them for the coming school year.
