Our Most Used Amazon Travel Finds (After 24 Days Abroad)

We just returned home from our family sabbatical. 24 days of travel through three countries and countless kilometers driven.

Here are travel products from Amazon that our family of 5 swears by:

1. Giant Red Duffel Bag (on sale for prime day!)

   We pack this giant duffel back in our regular suitcase and use it throughout our trips to shove our overflow— dirty laundry, souvenirs etc.

2. Jack & Rose Travel Steam and Iron (on sale for prime day!)

   This little steamer/iron combo has been a lifesaver. We used it to get everyone ready for our family pictures! We liked it so much, that we got rid of our actual iron and steamer when we got home and plan to use this not just for travel.

   

3. Charging Station (on sale for prime day!)

   If you travel with multiple devices this is a game changer. You only need one outlet and you can charge several devices at once. Keeps everything organized and save so much time.

4. Snack Bags

   Our kids are old enough to carry their own backpacks through the airport, which also means they get to carry their own snacks. These bags are the perfect size, zip closed and slide right into their backpacks. We took 7 flights this past month and refilled the bags before each flight. They would also be great for road trips.

   

5. Inflatable Booster Seat (lowest price we’ve seen on these!)

   We’ve been using these for years and still recommend them. The inflate in seconds (our kids blow them up on their own) and pack down so small. Perfect for taxis, ubers or rental cars.

6. Luggage Scale (under $10!)

   If you’ve ever flown on European airlines, then you know weight limits aren’t just a suggestion. We didn’t have to open our suitcases once to repack on this trip as we used this tiny luggage scale to balance the weights between our 2 checked bags before we would get to the airport.

   

7. Hanging Toiletry Bag (on sale for prime day!)

   Another longtime favorite. The hanging design makes it easy to access everything and the multiple zippers make access easier for our little ones.

8. Packing Cubes

   These are the easiest way to stay organized. Each family member gets a packing cube for their clothing. We would hand the kids their packing cube when we got to the airbnb and they were responsible for repacking it when we would go to the next spot. These just make clothing organization so much simpler.

   

9. Sound Machine (on sale for prime day!)

   This is our favorite travel sound machine. It’s simple, tiny and reliable. The key to getting our kids to fall asleep in the same room when we’re traveling.
