The Hall of Fame

Every once in a while I go back through old photos and find myself thinking one of two things: "I would still wear that today" or "wow, that was a moment." This post is both. I've been pulling old favorites from the archives, tried and true classic pieces that really bring me back to each era, and pairing each one with what I'd reach for now. Some are still available and still just as good. Some have been upgraded. And a few are truly from another era.

Let's take a walk down memory lane.

Who remembers this Target knit set?! One of my best finds. A great affordable set from the archives. I’d swap for a cotton knit set for summer. Loving this black and white striped top and shorts from Ref, or this striped set (shorts and top) from Target that’s just as good.

Leset Margo Tee. Still absolutely at the top of my favorites list. This one doesn’t need a swap. It earned its place and it’s staying there.

Deborah Pagani hair pin. This hairstyle was one of my favorite looks for so long and honestly it still holds up. You can still buy it, and I think it’s time to bring it back.

Anthropologie Somerset Maxi Dress. A true classic. They still make in different colorways and there’s a cute new sleeveless version.

Gap Easy Wide-Leg Pants. Still available, still love these. Some things don’t need to change.

Cape sunglasses from J.Crew. We sold these out multiple times!! These absolutely had their moment, but my sunglasses rotation has evolved.

Current favorites: a very similar Saint Laurent pair, another Saint Laurent style, this Jimmy Fairly pair, Saint Laurent wire frame, and a new favorite brand, Thistles.

Dôen Sebastian skirt. Such a good classic that I’ll always come back to. Quince makes a really similar style for less.

Toteme T-lock clutch. Still hall of fame worthy, no question. But I’ve also been loving some of their newer styles, like this dark brown beach tote and this croc-embossed pouch, both so good.

Margaux wrap sandals. Some of the best sandals ever made. Still going strong.

Citizens Charlotte jeans. These were a favorite for a long time, but I’d now swap for the Citizens Winslow (on great sale right now!), or the Agolde Romney which has a really similar fit to the Charlottes.

Madewell barrel jeans. Still around and still such a great jean. No notes.

Cuyana hat. This one had such a good run, and hats in general are still very much a priority.
