“Do you want Dad and I to write your #MalCrushMonday today?”
My mom asked me this as I am laying on their couch, and honestly? Yes. If that had been a real offer, I would have absolutely taken her up on it.
I am sleeeeeeepy but feeling excited that camp is over and that I am picking my friend Jody up from the airport tonight and that I get to celebrate my friends Imogen and Ryan this weekend and that I am starting a new job on Monday.
Things are aligning and aligned! What a gift!

What I’m crushing on (admiring, adoring, appreciating, cherishing, favoriting, etc.)
I almost lost it at the end of camp last week. ALMOST.
I mostly held it together for my team and for the campers. MOSTLY.
And now it is over. OVER.
Welcome to August in Ohio! Where the weather is SOUP.
It’s so freakin’ humid that my glasses are fogging up when I go from an air conditioned space back outside.
All of my beautiful friends have beautiful gardens and are growing beautiful produce! Here is a picture from my friend and cello teacher Sam’s garden:
