B.C. health care providers needed for a study about men’s experiences with MAiD

We have been asked to share a research opportunity from the UBC Men’s Health Research Program.

This one is specific to licensed, regulated, or otherwise authorized healthcare providers in British Columbia who have direct professional experience providing care to, or conducting assessments for, men who have sought or received MAiD. This includes but not limited to: Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Social Workers and Spiritual Health Practitioners.

There is still much to learn about how different people experience MAiD, make decisions about it and communicate their needs throughout the process. Research that explores these experiences can help strengthen education, policy and, most importantly, the care people receive at the end of life.
