Berlin Pride

Two weeks ago today, I received a distressing message from my partner that something terrible had happened.

We exchanged many a message and discussed both the immediate and far-reaching impacts of such acts of terror on individuals, communities, and nations. It is wistful how ruinous and destructive one’s actions can be, and how they can perpetuate a vicious cycle of hatred and loss.

This is for the queer community and anyone affected.
