As it’s January, many of us have been thinking about where we want to go in 2026. What direction do we want to grow in? Who do we want to become? There’s no better way to think about these questions than to read Audre Lorde’s Uses of the Erotic. Or even better, you can listen to her read it here:
My upcoming course Your Erotic Story: A 4-week Creative Writing Journey is based on her idea that feeling yourself, your desire, your emotions and delving into the stories of your body is a deeply political and necessary act. Necessary for our humanity. Necessary for our freedom.
This is may not be a course that will help you reach your 2026 goals. But it will help you connect to your body and the source of your erotic power to figure out what is there, and where it comes from.
I use multidisciplinary techniques; movement, voice, and writing, to help you delve into and uncover your creative power. The course will be joyful, sensual and surprising. I have run it several times, and this is what people had to say about it.
Although this will be the first time I am running it online, I’ve figured out how to make it intimate, yummy and supportive for people who have not been able to make the in-person workshops in Berlin.
The course is open to all genders, all sexualities, all backgrounds, and languages. That is, we will speak in English, but you can write in whatever language you like. Places are limited to keep it small, cosy, and intimate.
