This is the difference between me and a trans ally, by the way. This is my form of “violence”. Not to pat myself on the back, but, I think I'm generally kinder than many of the folks I encounter online, for sure.

But at the same time, I can definitely see my opposition making it out to be something meaningful and cruel, like the crochet mailbox hat I've shown before:

I can see why they kicked him out. They don't want the result of a man being tricked into leaving with a trans-identified man. No one wants to shoulder that responsibility, and I can't say I blame them.
